The first CAHN Black History Month Gala took place in 2018 to raise awareness of the work that organisations and inspirational people are doing to improve the lives of Black Caribbean & African people predominately in Greater Manchester.
To date, CAHN has held four of these events in Greater Manchester to continually demonstrate that through the inequalities, there is a lot to recognise, celebrate and say thank you for in the work that is being done.
This gala is open to all who would like to celebrate Black History month with us, and to shine a light on those and the organisations who are doing the work to make the lives of those around them better.
We are delighted to announce the details of the Black History Month Gala Awards Dinner 2024. This year’s dinner will be held on Saturday 12th October 2024 at the Hilton Hotel Manchester, Deansgate at 6pm
The theme this year is Celebrating Black Excellence and is supported by Black Equity Day.
The Gala Awards Dinner is a great networking event, bringing together people and organisations from across the country.
The night includes a drinks Reception, 3-course dinner with wine, entertainment, our awards ceremonies and an after-party.
We hope to see you at the Black History Month Gala Awards Dinner this year
